A new year, more gains for home prices in the Charlotte region.
Annual growth in area homes prices returned to a 6% pace in January, after falling slightly in November and December, according to the latest S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller index released on Tuesday.
Though when looking at the national housing picture, Charlotte’s price gains aren’t as steep as other large markets. Metro areas including Atlanta, Dallas, and Tampa, Fla., all beat Charlotte in that measure.
