The Overland Park Planning Commission on Monday recommended rezoning approval for a Price Brothers development that will bring roughly $100 million worth of market-rate apartments to a 12.7-acre site at the northwest corner of 127th Street and Metcalf Avenue.

Located just south of the Saint Luke’s South hospital campus, the site previously was zoned for 120,000 square feet of office development, a 374-bed assisted-living facility and a stand-alone parking garage.
